Just got back from working at the Skyline Comedy Cafe in Appleton, WI (just south of Green Bay) and I had a great time! I worked with a genius comedian out of Minnesota named Chris Maddock and a unique and hilarious comedian out of New York named Pete Lee (just seen on Last Comic Standing).
This was one of my favorite weeks on the road as a comedian. Everybody was truly hilarious and just a down to Earth, great person to be around. We laughed all weekend and had a mutual respect for one another. Entertaining fans and laughing with your fellow comedians - THAT is what it's all about.
And entertain we did! We took Appleton by storm and took no prisoners. We gave it all we had and had them cracking up for 90 minutes each night. Thank YOU Appleton for always being great to us.

I'm back in Aurora this week - my stomping ground. This is the place I get to try my new material before I take it on the road. Being that I haven't been here since March, I've written some new material on the road that I wish to bring here!

Tuesday, June 10thThe Laughs!
I've been on the road for the past couple weeks and it really doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon. The road can sometimes be a lonely place, but with the right people it can be the greatest thing ever.
It's hard to say goodbye to people on the road sometimes. There are those shows or weeks where you just click with the other comics and it's a great time. This past week in Kenosha and Milwaukee I had the pleasure of working with Mike Marvel, Sean Cirone, and James Yon...they are all very funny and talented and we had a great time. We were cracking jokes and telling road stories and it was obvious we all had a mutual respect for each other.
2 weeks ago I was out in Overland Park, KS with Brian Aldridge and Ken Schultz. Both are very funny/talented comedians from the Chicagoland area. I first met them over 5 years ago at Barrel of Laughs in Oak Lawn, IL when we were all newbies to the business. Here we are now in Kansas touring as the entire show! It was a great, surreal feeling. We got to do afternoon radio and it was just a great time.
In other news I am still working towards the MTV connection and will keep you updated on that as it progresses. I will be doing a local ad for a bar called "Cork and Kerry's" and it should air in Chicago - more details as they come.
Unfortuantely I was denied admission to the Washington DC comedy fest, but will continue to work harder towards next year. They don't know what they are missing - but I'll show them next year! Thanks for sticking with me and I have some bigger news coming up at the end of the year...
